SeaStills - Ray Collins
Malibumedia documented Ray Collins shooting photos of beautifully shaped, deeply coloured waves with iridescent backlit peaks. On this morning at 5am the sun came out after heavy rain and the light was just magic. SeaStills is a document to Rays passion and dedication to capturing moments of sculpted impossibly shaped waves. Shot by malibumedia and Chris Duczynski on Panasonic GH3 35-100 Lumix lens 1080p 50fps slo-mo in camera. Water footage by Jake D shot on go-pro 3. Thanks Roachy for location audio and water safety.

Friction Free Finless Surfing
Finless surfing exponent Derek Hynd, young gun Californian Ryan Burch and female free surfer Taylor Miller take on a West Australian desert Reef on finless boards. Accompanied by members of the Australian Chamber Orchestra led by Richard Tognetti, singer/songwriter Steve Pigram and didgeridoo virtuoso Mark Atkins composing inspirational music, this is a short document of that journey. As Richard composes and creates, the surfers slip and slide over the surface. The desert red landscape, cobalt blue skies and perfect offshore waves make this compelling viewing.
